Kate

Senior Interior Designer

As Senior Interior Designer, Kate creates spaces for clients that support a functional and positive work culture. With nearly 20 years in the field, she has experience in a wide variety of market segments including corporate, healthcare and education.

In her role, Kate develops strategic programming plans for clients to solve their design needs. This includes workplace furnishing design, layout and presentation. Researching developments in workplace trends, ergonomics, wellness and sustainability is also an important part of what she does.

“I love creating concepts,” she says. “It is not just furniture, it is an environmental framework that directly supports the success of a business or institution and fosters the well-being of the people who inhabit it.”

Initially, Kate was drawn to the interior design industry by a desire to help people have a better workday through intention and design. At the center of her professional work is her faith and passion for serving others.

Kate holds a BA from Western Michigan University and the Kendall College of Art and Design. In 2009, she received her NCIDQ certification and passed her WELL AP exam in 2021.

Outside of work, Kate loves to explore new places, spend time with family, watch movies, create art, cook and work out.
